Bruce Nelson is the President of Vertilocity, where he leads the strategic vision and operational direction of the firm. In addition to his day-to-day operational roles, Bruce is active in merger and acquisition activities to identify other great organizations to help clients solve complex business and technology challenges through a tailored, people-first approach.
Bruce brings more than 25 years of experience in financial, accounting, and technology consulting. A CPA (inactive), he began his career in public accounting at Deloitte before transitioning into ERP consulting and eventually leadership in IT services. At Vertilocity, Bruce has overseen the significant growth of the firm into new markets and service lines creating additional value for HBK and Vertilocity clients
Bruce holds a BS in Accounting from Duquesne University and an MS in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University. He is also a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh XXI and the CORO Civic Leadership Program.
Outside of work, Bruce enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending time with his family. Bruce has also served on various boards throughout his career.
