Dynamics GP 2018 R2 – More New Features

The 2018 R2 release enhances Dynamics GP and Vertilocity is looking forward to helping our customer’s benefit from this release.

The Inside Microsoft Dynamics GP blog does a great job of detailing the latest enhancements with their Feature of the Day Series.  Here are the features that have been released this week. 

Allow Duplicate Check Numbers

Allowing/ to allowing duplicate check numbers expanded to Bank Transactions, Payroll Manual Checks, and Miscellaneous

Simplifying Default Checkbook

When creating a computer check batch the Default Checkbook ID from Payables Management Setup will now default in the Payables Batch Entry window for Computer Checks.

Hide Inactive Checkbooks

Use the new option Exclude Inactive Checkbooks in the checkbook lookup and set it as your default lookup

Mass Update from Navigation Lists

In the navigation list you can inactivate and reactive multiple records at the same time.

Combine Customer Records, Retain Ship To

When using the customer combiner tool to combine two customer records, the ship to address will now be retained

Allow a Partial Purchase on a PO

When creating a purchase order from a purchase requisition you now have the option to change the quantity on the PO
