Meet a Team MemberQ: How did you join Vertilocity?
A: I joined Vertilocity through a hiring firm called Oxford Solutions. They helped me spruce up my resume and sent it over to Ben. After interviewing I received a phone call a day or two later asking me to start.

Q: What is the gadget that you can’t live without?
A: My iPhone 6. I used to be a big Android user, but someone convinced to make the switch. Now that I have it I used it for everything; email, social media, keeping in contact with friends and family, games, etc…

Q: What differentiates you from your competition?
A: I would have to say one of the things that stands out to me, and I think it also translates well to our level of customer service, is how well everyone here gets along. I have worked in many jobs before that there were squabbles from day to day or just an overall disdain between co-workers. I have not seen that here at Vertilocity at all. The happier you are at work, the better level of customer service you can offer and to me, that makes all the difference in the world.

Q: What’s your favorite free tool that others can get?
A: My favorite free tool to get would have to be a program called TreeSize Free. This allows you to find what exactly is taking up the space on your hard drive and where it is located. Although, the one warning I would give to anyone that uses this is to avoid removing anything from the Windows folder.

Q: What is the latest tip that you can share with your customers?
A: The tip I would like to share with customers is be careful. This is one of the best pieces of advice that I can give to customers and general computer uses alike. For example, if you receive an email from a company that you usually work with and it contains an unexpected attachment, do not open that email until you confirm with that contact that it is, in fact, from them. Be careful what you download from the internet. If you come across a download or link that seems too good to be true, it probably is. As one of our customers, I would recommend checking in with us before downloading anything from a location other than a fully trusted source.

Q: What is the best advice you have ever received?
A: Don’t let the small things bother you. This is advice that I have received from many of my family members and co-workers through the years, and it makes a world of difference to hear that from someone.

Q: What call did you get today that you’d like to share?
A: I got a call today from a customer who just had a simply resolved issue of being locked out of her computer. However, what made this call a special one to me is how grateful she was for the help. It’s the help that I can offer and how much better I can make someone’s day that makes me love working with the customers that I do.
