Why we decided to take the leap and update our website!
You may have noticed that we recently launched a new website. But, maybe you wonder why we chose to do that when it worked just fine before. Well, sometimes the saying “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it” doesn’t apply. And, in our case, it definitely didn’t. Sure, our website was working… but it wasn’t working well for us. We went back and forth about the idea for quite sometime. And as our customers know, old technology can sometimes be hard to use, but also hard to replace. Our content management system was old and very ineffective. But, we kept using it to avoid the dreaded idea of having to migrate to a new system and learn something new. We eventually decided to take our own advice and bite the bullet and upgrade!
More so than an outdated system, we also felt there were other things about our website that could use some tweaking. We realized that as the technology landscape has changed and is constantly changing, our offerings needed to as well. As the changes continued on, we felt as though our website not only didn’t reflect those offerings, but also did not portray what we do best.
From our recent technology upgrade experience and with those of our customers, we know how hard it is to take that jump. But we also see the benefit of it everyday.
